Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that actress Martha Madison’s (Belle Black-Brady) exit is looming, as she announced that she was leaving the show this past August on X/Twitter, stating she filmed her last scenes in the spring.
Fans have been buzzing with anticipation around what Belle’s exit storyline would be; however, maybe her “exit” won’t be one that ends with a bang.

Days spoilers suggest that there is hope for Shelle, but it seems as if fans will have to “wait” on it. Unexpectedly, Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) recently announced he was leaving Salem to be closer to his mom, dad, and sister, for the time being.
While Belle realized that she wanted to work on their marriage and insisted on joining him, there was a feeling that he needed to be with his family on his own, but that the two would work things out when he got home. He just needs some space, which considering what’s happened to him recently, seems fair.
Interesting plot twist in the story, since most viewers were predicting that Belle would likely head out of town in light of her hubby’s one-night stand with Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) and that would be Ms. Black-Brady’s exit storyline.
DOOL Spoilers: Is Belle Being Erased From Storylines?
Belle could simply vanish from the canvas, without any real rhyme or reason. This wouldn’t be the first time DOOL, or any other soap opera for that matter, did this to a legacy character. After all, when actor Peter Reckell left the show in 2012, Bo Brady was mentioned now and again on canvas, but no grand “farewell” with video montages was given. No real explanation about his exit was provided.
Still, perhaps DOOL has other plans for Belle and Shelle. Maybe there’s a recast in mind? After all, during a TV Insider interview, the actress revealed she was told about her character’s exit due to budget cuts, and as she was saying goodbye to the cast in crew during her final filming days, Martha was given another script.
Producers wanted to drop Madison down to recurring status to keep Ms. Black around for “legal” storylines, but she rejected the offer.
