Michael Le and his family, Tina, Tiffany, Daniel and Jonathan have taken their addicting content to a new Brat TV-produced Facebook Series, The Shluv Family!
The 11-episode series gives fans a look inside the Internet-adored family as they embark on different challenges.
From a lie-detector test to a pizza-making competition, each episode offers something for everyone to enjoy.
And while having a reality series on Facebook and Instagram may be new territory for the viral group, making content together is something they are quite familiar with. The Shluv Family’s TikTok page, a joint TikTok account where each of the family members collaborate on content together, holds an impressive 11.6 million followers.
In an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets, Michael explained that working together as a family is the secret sauce to being one the internet’s most favorite families. He shared that his favorite part about working with his mom and siblings on this new series is how comfortable it feels.
“I would say comfortability. Like, it’s not like I’m meeting someone for the first time and then it has kind of fake vibes or like it’s not as comfortable,” Michael said. “It kind of takes all of us to work well with each other to do well, I guess. Being able to do this show with my family is like, well, it was pretty cool because you know, we’re family.”
Fans have proven to adore the group’s family-centered aspect. While Michael dished that working as a family is their key to success, he also revealed that it comes with it’s challenges. Michael explained that the biggest learning curve while filming is working with his younger brothers Daniel and Johnathan.
“Definitely the kids, the kids being the kids,” Michael said. “You know sometimes they don’t want to do something. We’re just like, ‘Hey, just shoot this last one, this last interview.’ or this and that, you know? So we make it work. We make it work.”
Making it work and working together, The Shluv Family offers authentic content to adore. Each episode captures the family’s real reactions on different challenges or obstacles, even those that are not so pleasant!
Fans got to see this element in action when mom Tina Le was forced to hold a live snake during episode one, “Family Gets a Personal Zoo.”
“I’m terrified of animals,” Tina said. I was like, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this; I don’t think I can do this,’ and then they’re like, ‘You have to,’ and I’m like ‘Oh my gosh.’ The parts where I was literally shaking, like I was crying because the snake. I was crying, I was shaking, but they didn’t put that part. I mean, they didn’t take out the shaking of my legs. My whole body was shaking because I was so scared. Those are like all real reactions.”
