Ray William Johnson is an American actor, comedian, film producer, film director, screenwriter, and rapper. He is known for his YouTube series Equals Three (=3). He co-starred in the film Who’s Driving Doug.
Ray has said that he was brought up by his mother and his grandparents, and that his father was an addict who left the family when Ray was one year old. He is married to Kelly Farrel.
Various claims have been made that Ray is of Indian descent, though he has clearly stated that he is not Indian. In this clip, Ray talks about his father, soon after he had passed away.
He has also been described as having Native American ancestry.
Ray’s paternal grandfather was Howard Rodgers Johnson (the son of Howard O. Johnson and Flossie Ellen Rodgers). Ray’s grandfather Howard was born in Konawa, Oklahoma.
