Ronnie Oritz-Magro gave everyone a scare when he claimed that he was jumped and robbed on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. On the premiere of the show, he claimed that someone beat him up in a Secaucus parking lot.

“I was in Secaucus and I stopped at some diner, Lorenzo’s. The guy was like, ‘Yo, let me buy you a shot, Ronnie,’” he told his co-stars. “I said, ‘Bro, I’m driving, I’m good.’ He goes, ‘You’re the man because you’ve got who girls with you.’”

Ronnie then told everyone that when he got into his car, the man punched him.

“Jen was like, ‘What the f**k?’” he continued. “Jen and her friend ran around the car, I’m wresting the guy, someone ripped the chain off my neck.”

That sounds pretty bad! But people weren’t so convinced the event actually happened, seeing as Ronnie has had a history of abuse with his baby mama Jen Harley.

Back in January, the Jersey Shore star filed a police report against Jen for throwing an ashtray at his head. The couple was in Vegas for New Years Eve, and the incident allegedly ended with Ron suffering cuts on his nose, lip, and forehead from the launched ashtray.

According to Radar Online, there were no robberies reported from Lorenzo’s restaurant in the year 2018. An employee of the restaurant confirmed to the outlet that there was no fight involving Ronnie when he left the restaurant.

The employee said Ronnie and Jen were at the restaurant for no more than 20 minutes. “That short is completely fabricated that he said on TV,” said the source. “There was no one there to even jump him, the place was deserted that night.”

Interesting…so did Ronnie make up the story for attention, or was he trying to cover up something else?
