It’s been revealed that X Factor winner Alexandra Burke could be heading to Eurovision to compete for England in this year’s competition.

The ‘Bad Boys’ singer, who’s currently touring in the West End musical The Bodyguard – isn’t scheduled to perform 19-30 May. The Eurovision Song Contest takes place 23 May.

A spokesperson for the BBC said they “do not comment on speculation”. The representative will be officially announced during The Voice this evening.
