Anais Collins is a rising influencer from Wales who is making waves on the social media circuit. The content creator and dancer can be found killing the game on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram thanks to her fun and down-to-earth nature.

Welcome to CelebMix! Can you please introduce yourself to our readers with an unknown fact?
Hey! So an unknown fact about me is that I can sing any Spanish song! I pick up Spanish lyrics very quickly.
What’s your favourite thing about being an influencer?
My favourite thing about being an influencer is that I always have the opportunity to help people even if it’s just having a chat about life, I love that people look up to me and my way of life that means so much to me!
And also experiencing things that I never thought I would get the chance to experience.I have also met my best friends through being an influencer and I couldn’t be more grateful that I get to share the most amazing times with my best friends.
What’s your favourite social media platform and why?
My favourite social media platform is definitely Instagram! I receive a lot of good feedback/energy from my Instagram account, I enjoy posting daily on my Instagram account so my followers can see what I get up to!
I think Instagram is like a little book, if I scroll back to my first post I have been able to scroll all the way up to the top of my page and watch how much I’ve changed and how much I’ve experienced over the past three years and that feels amazing.
You’ve had the chance to attend some great events – what’s been your favourite so far?
So I’ve had the chance to attend some great events you’re right!! My favourite event that I’ve attended so far would definitely have to be VidCon LDN, not just the event but the quality of the whole five days was absolutely outstanding and I made the best memories.
I had the most amazing experience, being invited into the YouTube lounge and the Instagram lounge it was very exciting as I got the chance to have some very cool interviews and met such amazing people, including some lovely people that follow my social media accounts it was amazing to hear that people do look up to what I do and I took so many pictures which was amazing.
The VidCon week really did change my mindset and it made me realise this is exactly what I want to be doing! I’m extremely happy right now!

What other social media influencers do you think are smashing it right now?
HRVY is definitely smashing the music game right now! All of his new songs are so catchy and he’s constantly growing day by day all over the world! ‘Told You So’ is definitely my favourite song.
Lee Hinchcliffe and Joe Tasker are absolutely killing the YouTube game along with Saffron Barker! They are so consistent with there content and every single video is so entertaining!

We love your little covers on social media! Would you ever consider doing full ones on YouTube?
Thank you so much! I have sang from a very young age and I’m always singing no matter where I am or what I’m doing, I do love to record songs and I do have a music video coming out this year! So keep an eye out on my social medias to find out all about it!

You also post videos on TikTok – what’s been your favourite one to film so far?
I love posting on TikTok, my favourite video I’ve filmed has to be my ‘Hometown Quiz’ – it has been viewed over 335 Thousand times, so I think my TikTok followers also enjoyed that video too!
Who are some of your biggest inspirations in life?
I have a few big inspirations, I definitely have to say my mother Joanne! My mother supports me in everything I do and I hope to grow up to be half the lady she is.
I definitely look up to LAUV, he is one of my biggest inspirations. He continues to fight through life even when he’s not feeling his best and he honestly deserves so much love and appreciation towards his music and his way of life.
Anne-Marie is also a massive inspiration to me, I’ve always looked up to Anne-Marie not just as an artist but as a person. Her music is so meaningful and she is such a lovely lady inside and out and I can’t fault her at all on her outlook on life. She is genuinely amazing!
You’re a dancer – what style of dance is your favourite?
I’ve been a dancer from the age of three, I have also danced as a street/ hip hop dancer and it’s by far my favourite style of dancing.
There’s so much energy and passion within the two styles and for that reason I absolutely love them both! You can really show off your inner dancer whilst performing these two styles.
I am hoping to start up my own classes towards the end of the year, it’s something I’m looking into at the moment.
What advice would you give your younger self about navigating/making your way through life?
The only advice I would give my younger self is listen to what YOU WANT! If you listen to other people you won’t get to where you want to be.
Always do what you can, if you have the opportunity to do something if it’s something massive or just a little something just GO FOR IT! Do not regret not doing something in your childhood that you could have done, just do it!
Do not let anything or anyone get you down! Keep your head up at all times because the best moments of life are only around the corner.

You come from Wales – what do you love most about the country?
So I live in a town called Barry. The TV show Gavin and Stacey is filmed all around my town which is absolutely amazing! I enjoy the show still now and we constantly have people/ fans visiting our town/ island.
The team are about to start filming a Christmas special for the 10 year anniversary of Gavin and Stacey which is very exciting, I cannot wait!
What songs are hot on your playlist right now?
My favourite song at the moment is ‘Don’t Need Your Love’ – NCT Dream and HRVY! I am also loving LAUV – ‘Sad Forever’!
What would you like to achieve next in your career?
My main goals are to make everybody happy including myself, the career path I’ve always wanted to take is actually happening for me right now! I don’t want to rush into anything, I love living in the moment so I cannot wait to see what happens next. Every week gets more exciting for me with new achievements! I am so so happy with the position I am in right now!
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
So this year I have been invited to numerous events, I have already attended a few of them, but I have some amazing ones coming up over the next six months. I also have a few meetings/collabs lined up with some big companies.
